“Great artists make the roads; good teachers and good companions can point them out. But there ain’t no free rides, baby.”  Ursula K. Le Guin

I am a writer, teacher, mother, sister, artist of life, and a widow.

I am a published poet in the middle of writing a memoir about the long illness and eventual death of my husband from cancer. I am making a truce with grief.

I want this space to be a discussion.

I am no healer. I have no answers. But I have a deep desire to connect.

There are no rules. You do not have to be a woman or a widow to comment here. Let’s just be good to each other.

My goal is to post something new every Sunday. Please click on POSTS to read further.
